If you want to use your medical insurance, you may want to come in during business hours as many insurance verification systems close by 5pm or call us so we can verify the insurance before you come.

Medicare is an insurance plan we take for eye exams. We can usually verify your benefits by calling the provider Medicare line. If we need to call, Medicare offers a 24 hour automated system to verify benefits. If we have to talk to a customer service representative, their office is open only during office hours and so we not be able to take you after 5pm. Depending on your Medicare benefits, your routine or medical eye exam may be covered. If you have a Medigap supplemental such as AARP, UHC, or Tricare, your copay will usually be covered. Eyeglasses are only covered by Medicare if you have had cataract surgery. To verify your Medicare benefits before your appointment, call us and give us your medicare number and letter, patient's date of birth, first and last name. When you arrive at the office, you will need to supply identification, medicare card, medicap gard or medicare supplemental to use your medicare benefits.
