Learning starts at a very young age. We recommend bringing your child starting at age 3 for routine eye checkups unless you feel your child is already having vision problems (watches TV too close, holds onto furniture or parent very closely, bumps into walls, eyes turn in, etc.) Our doctors can see children as young as 6 months.

We handle all 4 types of Medicaid programs (Peach State, Amerigroup, Wellcare, GA Better Health) - We are available to help you and your child with eye exams and Medicaid eyeglasses. If you have Amerigroup, Wellcare, or Peach State, you can receive the Medicaid glasses as soon as 2 weeks. It may take longer depending on your prescription and the plan you have. The doctor side is equipped to handle Medicaid glasses at 3 of our Wal-mart locations.

Appointments are in limited supply. Please call and follow instructions provided by our staff to make an appointment. Please have your Medicaid number available. Currently, we are accepting Medicaid patients at all locations.

**Note: We no longer accept outside eyeglass prescriptions for Medicaid glasses. We only provide Medicaid glasses to our patients that come to us for an eye exam. We see patients for routine eye exams or eye exams with a medical complaint.

You must come during the doctor's office hours in order to receive the medicaid glasses. Amerigroup and Wellcare now covers routine eye exams and glasses for adults and children. PeachState patients are eligible for a free eye exam and glasses whether you are a child or an adult. Co-Pays may apply. Please call and ask what your co-pay will be before your office visit. If you just have Medicaid(GA Better Health) or Medicaid and Medicare, please call to see if you may qualify for glasses.
If you can not afford glasses, we maybe able to help with our eyeglass assistance program.
